WhatsApp is testing to include many new features in its beta channel, including beta versions, and Dark Mode, in-app browsing, reverse image search, group privacy settings, frequented forward message restriction to name, among them. While some features are in testing, some of the features are currently ready for the beta program. 1. WhatsApp ads on Status

Facebook has announced that it will bring advertising to WhatsApp in 2020. Users will get ads in WhatsApp stories, just like in Instagram Stories. Its details have been received on Facebook by Facebook Marketing Summit, where it is mentioned about how ads will appear in WhatsApp's status feature.

2. Dark Mode

WhatsApp has been working on Dark Mode for its Android and iOS app for a long time. WABetaInfo, the company will soon bring Dark Mode to all Android users. The WhatsApp 2.19.82 beta version reveals that it has a code for the dark code that has been disabled for now. 4. Share contact via QR code

Beta Version 2.19.151 can also add WhatsApp 'Share contact via QR Code' feature, so that WhatsApp users can generate QR codes from their contact details. This way users can share contact with encrypted form with this QR code.

5. In-app browsing

According to Wabetainfo, this feature will be added under the WhatsApp 2.19.74 beta version. However, this feature has not been enabled in the 2.19.74 version and it has been said that the work is going on right now. This will allow users to open any link in WhatsApp's in-app browser instead of their phone's default browser. This feature will be for Android version 4.1 or later Android phones.

6. Reverse Image search

WhatsApp will bring this feature into the beta channel so that users can search reverse image search for a saved or sent image in their chat. According to Wabetainfo, the "search by image" feature has not come yet and WhatsApp is still working on it to make sure that there is no bug. With this, users can take the image to Google from their chat. Once the image is uploaded, the WhatsApp will show the result by opening it in the in-app browser. This feature will show if any image has already arrived on the web before or not.

7. Group privacy settings

This feature of WhatsApp will not allow any user to automatically add anyone to the group. Users will have three options - "Nobody", "My Contacts" and "Everyone". Group admins have to send an invitation to the users. Next users also have to enable group privacy settings.

8. Frequently forwarded message info

The WhatsApp "forwarding info" feature was working under 2.19.80 beta version, so it will know how many times a message has been forwarded. The "frequent forwarded message" tag will appear in a number of messages.

9. Group Admins

This "frequented forwarded message" restriction feature of WhatsApp will be brought under 2.19.97 beta update. From this, users or Group Admins will be redirected to frequently forwarded tag. According to WAbetainfo, this feature is in the development phase by bringing in the beta version. With this, Group Admins can choose from "Allow" and "Do not Allow" options to send users which are often forwarded to forwarded messages.

WhatsApp is also working on the new audio picker, which allows 30 audio files to be sent at the same time. Just like the preview, the users can listen and run before sending the file. Update supports audio preview and image preview. Along with this, WhatsApp is also testing Emoji's Emotion status for Emoji's Doodle Picker. New emoji will replenish this time emoji.

13. Sticker preview in notification

The WhatsApp Sticker Notification Preview feature has been updated to iOS beta version 2.19.50.21. This is in the under development process under the 2.19.130 Android beta update. This will show the users in the sticker preview notification.
