The reason behind the price cut for Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is because its successor is going to launch on 22nd of this month and motivation behind A2's price cut could be attributed to its poor run in the sales department so far.
Each phone has got a price cut of Rs 1000 and are now available at lesser prices effective already on websites.Even though during festive seasons the Redmi Note 5 pro was available for as low as13000bucks, the 1000 rupees price cut hasn't put the phone in the festive price league and might be a dealbreaker for some and whether A2 will resurrect itself from the poor sales run, well, I still feel like its a bit on the costly side comparing it to the "Xiaomi standards". A sweet price could be a different scene altogether for the A2
Whether Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro will continue to sell after 22nd remains to be seen.
Redmi Note 6 pro will be the first Redmi Note device to have a Quad camera setup and
Will it continue the great sales records of its predecessor, remains to be seen as it offers little improvement in terms of specs.
